SOME PRE-GAME POWER RANKINGS FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT

Ok so I dont remember all the characters names here and Im afraid googling will reveal spoilers so Im just going to go off what I remember and what their pictures look like on the start screen. Power rankings are sort of a mix of how long I think a character will survive influenced by how much I like them and don't want them to die right away.

I Know What Happens Case 1 So Blind But Not Really Blind Pre-Game Power Rankings:
16) Byakuya Call it a hunch, but I dont think he lasts very long. His killer? Cholesterol.
15) Fat chef character I remember him having an absurd bayou accent and that he was a weird little pervert. Im honestly surprised he wasnt the first to die. I *think* his plot to kill Byakuya was dumb in some way, but I cant quite remember what that was. The good news is I wont have to deal with him for long, as I specifically remember him being shot into a volcano.
14) Purple haired guy in a green jumpsuit Ok so I do not remember this character at all. Im looking through all the picture and I remember everyone else but I could not tell you a thing about this guy. Im not even positive hes actually in the game. He might be some promo art they accidentally left on the Vita title screen. If he is in the game, he clearly isnt important enough to last all that long.
13) Super buff exercise coach This dude straight up looks like a minor Dragonball Z villain. He was a huge chain around his neck and this weird pointy hair and theres something weird going on with his eyes. AND hes wearing sandals! After labor day? Outrageous. Only murderers wear sandals. Trust me, theyve done studies.
12) Baby mafia guy I remember hating him and him constantly talking about murdering us. Or maybe Im imagining that. I do remember a voice line going HEY YOU BASTARDS whenever he talked and wanting to stuff him into a locker. I feel like the mafia guy is too obvious to be a killer, but just not-obvious enough to be a victim.
11) Sonia Nevermind I actually remember her full name because it was so weird. After the 11037 nonsense from the first game, I am only half joking when I say I feel like her name is going to be used as a clue. Like someone will have written on the wall nevermind who killed me and everyone will shrug their shoulders and then youll step up heroically with some red paint to correct it so it reads Nevermind: who killed me! and everyone will gasp.
10) Mikan So I remember Mikan being fun and quirky and partially nude, but I dont think she can be one of those characters that survive to the end. Her picture at the start of the game is her falling on her face and crying. Those arent the actions of a survivor. Those are the actions of someone who is about to die in a horror movie, or maybe a toddler chasing their puppy.
9) Ibubu Something about her appearance is giving me Celeste vibes where it looks like shed be totally into murdering someone to escape. I dont know why I think that, because I remember her being fun and carefree from my previous attempt at playing this. It must just be that sort of punk rock aesthetic. Oh no. Im the dad from Footloose. MUSIC MUST BE STOPPED BEFORE IT KILLS US ALL.
8) Athlete girl I think I remember her saying shes a gymnast but I cant recall 100% so Im going to go with the much more vague athlete. I also cannot remember anything about her personality. Like at all. Danganronpa is usually good at giving characters some weird quirks, so Im going to assume that means she gets some sort of personality dump later in the game in a case that is more centered around her.
7) Swordswoman She had a weapon literally on her back on this title screen. Who the hell is letting her carry a weapon around like this? This is straight up irresponsible, guys. Someone take that from her and put it somewhere. If anyone gets stabbed I feel like we should all just agree it was the girl with the giant knife weapon on her back.
6) Nagito Clearly he is going to be the final boss in this game along the lines of Junko so they cannot kill him for a while. I look forward to him just annoying the hell out of me the entire game before we banish him to the despair realm in the final case.
5) Gundham I specifically remember him because of how awesome his name was. Also, his style is A+++. I want this magic scarf he has on. Dude was ahead of the curve on this COVID thing. Gundham hasnt spread any germs since 2014 and I think we should all respect that. Also I remember him loving animals so Im just sort of rooting for him to make it.
4) Camera girl I remember her being helpful and having a well established personality, which is like the top two things you need for them to keep writing you lines in a Danganronpa game. Plus there is no way her camera doesnt come into play in multiple cases. They specifically put her camera in this game so we could get clues, Im calling it now.
3) Tiny psychopath girl She is way to small to successfully pull off a murder. She could try to stab you and her little noodle arms wouldnt puncture your skin. Plus I just remember liking her, so Im hoping put her up here is good luck and she survives until late game to insult other characters I dont like.
2) Chiaki She was this games Kyoko from what I remember so she has a free pass until the end, basically. I think her defining character traits were helpful and sleepy so I dont really think shes a threat to murder anyone.
1) Protagonist I once again am going to hedge my bets here because I think his name is Hajime but that could just be from something else and Im not confident enough to lock in that answer. Either way, I dont think they kill off the protagonist here so I feel safe slotting him in at number one.
