Case 5-3 - Turnabout Academy

Blood was moved to the art room to throw any investigation off. The Gavinners' banner was then partially burned to destroy the evidence of blood. The body of Prof. Courte wasn't moved, but her reinterpretation of the Lady Justice statue was, causing the loud crash we heard during the mock trial. Prof. Means points out that even with Prof. Courte killed the day before, the body has nowhere to hide on the stage.

Means cuts deep here, triggering Athena's PTSD about feeling helpless as a child. She BSODs. We get a pep talk from the friendship trio, and in a strange way, from Prosecutor Blackquill. He references someone Athena is striving towards - who could it be? I wanna know!

Athena thinks it through and realizes the Wright statue was used to hide Prof. Courte's body onstage. What a nice little callback. I'm happy now. We follow through on Athena's suspicions and recreate how Prof. Courte's corpse would have looked under a sheet.

Except we get a little too creative about it. Sculptures require an armature to give them structure, and Robin had obviously already made one. I was annoyed when I clicked on it and Judge had noooo idea what I was talking about! Okay, weirdo, YOU try making a larger-than-life Objection-posed statue then! Armatures, while not extending to the very end of the statue's extremities, do help support something like an arm pointing out from the base sculpture. Frankly, the arm would fall off without it, and a sad, one-armed Phoenix is something everyone should object to.

3DS needs to charge before we finish this up. See you tomorrow!!
