That part is the problem with this pledge.

This never happens (on the board or in real life) and for good reason.

Atheists are not all the same. Christians are not all the same.

Now, you are right that I shouldn't treat someone differently just because of their religion (that actually is discrimination) and very few people here actually do that.

NOT discriminating means you should treat people the way they deserve to be treated, based on their own individual merits.

But individuals use their religions in different ways and in some cases, they SHOULD feel uncomfortable. Obviously, everyone isn't going to agree on when this is/is not the case but that is what discussions are usually about.

No one on this board treats everyone equally and this topic is probably the only place where people pretend that they do.
