Crippling anxiety.

This. I can maneuver the vehicle just fine but I tense up when I see too many cars or drive in an unfamiliar place and start making mistakes. Instead of getting over that, it just kept getting worse until I gave up for about a decade lol smh.

I started practicing again and have gotten a lot better in the last year and was driving regularly without a license, which I do not recommend btw, prior to the pandemic but that was just within a mile or two of my house and only for work purposes. I had plans to see a therapist who specializes in driving anxiety but pandemic ruined that.

Getting around was only difficult when I was too fat and out of shape to handle a little walking. Between walking, cycling, and public transportation, there's not really a problem getting anywhere I need to go. It was actually really good after they rolled out the train system.
