Reading around I saw once you hit 12m and pass into the open ocean area the game freaks out and that glitch happens. I was able to avoid it from happening though by just rolling up everything in the opening areas and never moving on after I hit 12m and just staying in those first 3 areas until I was big enough to roll up buildings and eventually hit 30m then once I moved into the ocean area it didn't happen --- ...
