Her: "I'm furious. People at work have covid and they won't tell us who!"
Me: "They really can't because of HIPAA. It's not really their choice"
Her: "It's bullshit. I just went to see my grandmother and my mother just last night. If they would die, I am suing them. They are assholes. They don't care if people's families die. Just that we go to work. Fuck them."
Me: "I mean, that isn't on them. That is on you."
Her: "How?"
Me: "I mean, it isn't your workplace's fault that you continue to ignore medic guidance from the CDC and state health officials and governor orders. If you gave it to your mother or grandmother, that is actually your fault for flaunting the guidelines, not them. You could sue them all day, but you would be found at fault for that, not them."
