Greetings all! My name is Inviso, and today I'll be your host for the latest in #GauntletCrew entertainment and rankings. Over the past however many years, the Gauntlet crew has ranked every Disney movie, every Pixar movie, every Ghibli movie. We've ranked Sports movies, we've ranked Sci-Fi movies, we've ranked RomComs. We've ranked films from all over the world (albeit mostly the West), and on the heels of our completely LGBTQ+ movie list, it's time for our latest project.

Partially due to COVID providing a perfect cut-off point for the time being, and partially because we've felt that some of our rankings have been a bit too broad and might have frightened away new users who wished to participate, we're going with a new ranking this time that I hope can bring interest in from around the board, and not just from within our little Gauntlet Crew family. Without further ado, I am here to announce that this time around, we will be ranking the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The List:

Iron Man (2008)
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Thor (2011)
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Marvel's The Avengers (2012)
-----
Iron Man 3 (2013)
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Ant-Man (2015)
-----
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Doctor Strange (2016)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Black Panther (2018)
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Captain Marvel (2019)
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

That's only 23 movies to watch and rank if you're interested, and we'd really like to get a bunch of new participants beyond our closeknit Gauntlet family. If you want to participate, send your ranking to [email protected].

For the ranking itself, please just provide a list of the movies ranked from 1 to 23, with 1 being your favorite, and 23 being your least favorite. Additionally, please include write-ups for each movie. They don't have to be super in-depth, but we like reading what other people think, and it helps to explain why one person might rank a film at 1, while another ranks it at 23.

The deadline for submissions is set at 1/31/21 for the moment. If you need an extension on getting your ranking in before that time, we'll see what we can do. Also, if you're interested in participating, please leave a comment in this topic, just so I know who to expect, and who to keep an eye out for as the deadline approaches.

Hopefully this can be a big, successful project, and I look forward to hearing from many of you soon.
