If modern ABA therapy is anything like this it's easy to see why people call it torture.

From what I read there, you would need more to characterize him as a "child torturer". The use of negative reinforcement to prevent injurious or aggressive behavior isn't something I would call torture.

Bringing up the gay conversion therapy bit is irrelevant to ABA and seems like you're kind of poisoning the well there.

And if you'll read article, it says the use of aversies was discontinued because they were only temporarily effective.

Edit: if you click on the link they have for the ASA, it says he would have them physically beaten and shocked with cattle prods. Which really would be torture.
