| UshiromiyaEva 11/20/20 10:55:22 PM #5: | Yeah it's on sale pretty quick, have a feeling this is getting slept on, even though this is easily the best time I've ever had with a Vanillaware game so far. Story is just nuts, so many characters to pick from and go down paths for, and every time theres a WTF moment that makes you immediately want to switch to another character, or go back to do a different path. It's a huge proponent of non-linear storytelling so far. After getting last the tutorial I was actually not looking forward to going into the combat mode (they're completely seperated modes that both have progress locks for the other mode), but once I started that I didn't want to go back to the other mode either! Only did because I'm hard locked now until I progress more in the story. Basically, I've rarely played something that has ever had me this invested and engrossed in what was going on while simultaneously have NO idea what the hell the narrative was, and that's on purpose. --- ACAB ...
