I'm saying that the train of thought behind blaming the victim is similar. You can't commit a crime upon somebody just because you perceive that they've opened themselves up to it. That's garbage and if everybody thought like that then imagine how many times we'd all get assaulted and then told it was our fault. Again, the guy was being annoying -- but he didn't deserve to get mugged.
