My brain immediately went to Hudson Soft and Broderbund, but I feel like both should be well-known enough on their own to be disqualified. Though I'm often disappointed when I overestimate just how much knowledge young people have of the past. I am an old guy; The company that made the game I never heard of before (even though the publisher is a well-known). Hudson Soft and Broderbund are pretty well known, probably more than Asmik for sure --- "Salt cures Everything!"
