Rules:

-Only truly serious questions will be answered. Like if you come in and start guessing specific Pokmon before even a few questions have been asked, I won't answer it because it'll just waste questions. I reserve the final right to determine if a question is truly "serious" or not, but I am open to hearing reasoning as to why you feel a seemingly joke question should be taken seriously and will change my mind if your case is compelling enough.

-Must be a Yes or No question. If it requires elaboration, I will not count it as a question, but I will inform you that it requires elaboration.

-Only one question per post, can then ask an additional question once I respond to first question.

-Specific Pokmon guesses may begin after I feel enough legit questions have been answered to narrow it down by a significant amount, or will be honored if someone nails it.

-I am not answering guesses based on "is it higher than #404 in the national dex?" This makes it way too easy. Like say it's lower than 404. You go from 800 possibilities to 400, then 400 to 200, then 200 to 100, then down to 50 in five questions. Couple of type guesses and/or "does it or doesn't it have evolutions" and it's over. You CAN still make guesses like "Is it gen 1 or 2 or w/e," but you may not game the system and ask "Is it found in gens 1-4," since you're effectively asking the same question.

-I do not count mega-evolutions as evolutions. An example being this; say the Pokmon I have in mind is Charizard (it's not this time). Say someone asks, "does it have an evolution?" or "does it evolve?" I will answer NO. Even though Charizard does have a mega-evolution, I do not count it as an evolution in the traditional sense of the word's usage (in the context of Pokmon). You are of course free to ask if it has a mega-evolution. Additionally, I consider a Pokmon with a mega evolution to be "fully evolved." So if it's Charizard, and you ask "is it fully evolved," I will say YES.

-Alola or Galarian-forms will never be the answer. You can ask if the Pokmon I'm thinking of has an Alolan or Galarian form, of course. But know that my answer will never be an Alola or Galarian-form Pokmon (in other words, the answer will never be specifically Alolan-X or Galarian-X. It would just be X).

-Legendary vs. Mythical - I will refer to these as the same thing because one site may call it legendary and another may call it mythical. For the purposes of this topic, all "legendaries" and "mythicals" will be referred to as legendary.

-Previously, the entry would not be from gen 8 as it was coming out. That has changed. Gen 8 is now on the table.

-Final note: I'm not doing this to jerk anyone around. I'm not here to make you think it's Unown letter Y or Rotom-W or anything overly specific like that. Don't overthink things. If you want me to clarify anything else that the rules may not have covered, you are free to ask as long as you preface the question by saying it's not a question. If I feel it'd give too much away though, I will say something like "this would give too much away, please confirm if you want to ask it and I will dock a question accordingly if you do" or whatever.

Go.
