Nor do I think you need great early boon luck for the plume and butterfly, with good weapons. Maybe this is true on higher heat though - I'm typically only around 10 and I've only done 16 once. No 32 yet. I will say that I'd expect Pom Blossom to be better with fewer boons, since you want less duds for it to level up.
