So, my dumb ass, right?

I do that Hellcat conversion to my car to have the extra air flow for better econ and lower end torque, and realizing that a giant unimpeded hole straight into the most critical area of my car with only a small layer of filter medium to defend it, wasn't the best idea. So, I found a company makes drop-in screens to help prevent any exceptionally large chunks from entering the air filter box.



So I get the piece, liking how it mimics the grille pattern of the car to help match, when it hits me, this thing is for the back of the intake, where you won't even see it unless you're eye level with my car, and I'm running you over.

[Sigh]

Still looks fucking cashmoney though, but now I have to order the part I originally wanted all over again. Took like a week and a half just for this thing.
