Almost every major retailer (sans Amazon which is online only) will have "in-store" stock that is non-pre order on launch day, but it will only be available for in store pick up after you place an online order first. This is to prevent lines of people to try and pick it up. It will be limited, but the fact it's limited to in store or curbside pick up means it will lighten some (not all) of the bot load. Meaning you'll have a better shot against bots by trying to snag one. That being said, they will still be fairly limited. Expect maybe a handful per store per week until 2021. It's been this way for nvidia's GPUs, it is looking this way for AMD's CPUs and likely their GPUs later this week as well.
