The media are like piranhas to him, so he stands firm. He's trying to steer the ship but people want to break it down, rioters, media outlets and social media. Why would we want to drain the economy when we're still trying to get shit together from the 08 crash? Businesses don't want to get sued so they enforce masks because they know how people will react.
