| masticatingman 11/05/20 9:46:37 PM #55: | It only matters really if the senate has 50 democrats - then the executive provides the tie breaker and the Democrats will have relatively unchecked power except for issues brought to the Supreme Court. What would the Democrats do with all that power? Probably enforce nationwide lockdowns and whatever recession we have now will get way worse. Thats just based off how Democratic governors have been acting since March. Also stuff like adding new states and packing the courts would be on the table.
