There is a bit too much partystar slander in this topic. As someone who was around then, and was friends with him, I think the extent of his rallying for Lulu is being overrated. He was never a super-popular user, even if he did participate in Save Mys pretty frequently. He couldn't get that many people to vote for his characters (it would be like charon trying to 'rally for' Seymour, as opposed to active trading, during the prime of the anti-charon era...no offence charon). If anything, partystar may have told Semi to help rally, and since Semi was popular and they were friends, he may have been able to do it. Though I suppose that would reflect badly on partystar, but eh, I just don't imagine partystar would be able do it. And I do think there was some joke voting near the end, and especially in the finals. People thought it was funny that Lulu made it that far, and that she would actually 'beat' Auron in the finals. Man, this is some crazy old stuff. It's been so long, maybe my memories are completely wrong...

Also, Gen, this is probably not bad news for FFX. Seymour will be on life support when the saves go up (sorry again, charon), but all 4 of Tidus/Yuna/Auron/Rikku have the potential to go very deep this contest, and several of them may do so. It would be nice, actually, given that FFX has never been a top contender. Lefty's most recent set of stats (from the previous contest) showed it as ranking in last of the main representatives in this contest (and by a lot, at that, with Yuna's 22nd place being that game's best). None of its characters have been able to put up stats like FF6 or 9, or even the top characters from 4 or 7. Even the most 'popular', Auron, is used as the example of a character who struggles for many rounds in the mid-game. Anyway, considering the new voter dynamics, I could see this as possibly being FFX's year. Assuming the characters don't get hurt by all of this in-fighting between users...

Wow, this was long. SMFFFC, serious goddamn business
