I remember Nintendo frantically trying to re-establish it's RPG library after screwing up their relationship with SquareSOFT, as Nintendo was too stubborn to use CD-ROMs during that time, they lost the Final Fantasy franchise to Sony. That in and of itself didn't have to be an issue since even though carts are smaller, they were still bigger than the SNES which had the BEST RPGs... they just needed to make UP-GUNNED SNES instead of Sad-mode PS1 --- "Salt cures Everything!"
