The other day I was carrying a perfect cougar corpse to a remote trapper to sell. Well, right as we're arriving at the trapper, my horse trips on a rock or tree stump or whatever other invisible forces of nature that are constantly flinging me from my horse. Normally this is not a big deal, but on this occasion my horse fell directly into the trapper's campfire and it, along with the perfect cougar corpse, went up in flames. Since I was out of a horse and didn't want to spend the time waking back to town at the moment, I decided I'd hunt down another cougar in the area to make up for my loss. Unfortunately, my horse's corpse remained by the trapper's campfire, slowly decomposing through at least three different stages in a disturbingly realistic fashion. Last I checked, the skeleton was still there and I try to avoid that trapper now to spare Arthur the trauma. RIP Urp.

Also, today, I found a camp of O'Driscolls right on a cliffside. Naturally I start lighting them up since, you know, they're O'Driscolls. When the camp is nearly satisfactorily massacred, one of them O'Driscoll boys blindsides me out of nowhere and tackles me over the edge of the cliff, killing us both. I have to appreciate the kamikaze effort, but the O'Driscolls will not live long enough to regret this, mark my words.
