you were still pretty early on in the game, I think you just reached genichiro. that's nearly everyone's first wall and you either keep smacking your head against the wall until you finally figure out how to best play the game or you give up.

if you were not having enough fun though, maybe beating genichiro wouldn't have changed it so I don't fault anyone for not liking the game.

Yeah, I found myself not enjoying the game after a while. Not that the game needed an easy mode but the rewards were not worth the challenge for me.
