NA/EU rated about the same with NA most favourable. JP not throwing out those 5*s as easily, mostly 4s and a bit more 3s
People liked.... Music 80 > Jobs 76 > Graphics 74 > Brave/Default System 70 > Characters 70 (PS: hail REVO)
Two things particularly displeased with: Difficulty & Controls. Difficulty 33%, Usability 28%. Difficulty way too high, UI lacking details yet also cluttered
lmao, the demo was deliberately challenging to get people to experiment with the jobs/abilities and such.. the result was frustrating everyone
Adjustment: Casual.Normal/Hard difficulties. Affects the whole game of course but early stages in particular are more forgiving, yet balancing things so latter stages/bosses still feel challenging no matter the difficulty.
another Key Complaint: Not being able to see turn order.
Adjustment: Turn gauges & Exclamation Marks added.... looks like ATB gauges, exclamation marks appear above enemies about to act. Lol they specifically mention ATB here. Considered adding ATBs for enemies too but didn't wanna tilt balance too far in players favour. Wants to address players needs while retaining some unknowingness.
