There are very few things in political discourse that get under my skin more than weaponizing tone policing and civility. Especially such an obvious case of someone's words being taken out of context.
If I understand correctly, then I essentially agree. I'm tired of "going high, when they go low." Speak to them in the same manner they speak to you. These folks are civil, and often they're hypocrites, it's one of the reason we need more people like Hasan, Destiny, Vaush, etc.

Context isn't an excuse for saying heinous things. I understand what esoteric point he wanted to get across. But I also understand that Hasan Piker is a garbage human so it came natural to him to just blurt out that America deserved a terrorist attack that killed 3,000 American civilians. Just like it came natural to him in his criticism of Crenshaw to just say that the Taliban militant who planted the IED that took Crenshaw's eye was a "stunning, beautiful and brave" (or whatever it was he said exactly) soldier.
Yes it is. And if you're going to criticize Hasan, crticize those policies that led to him making that statement. What the fuck did they expect by arming and giving structure to these groups. Do you think those hundreds of thousand civilians in the middle east deserved to die? Because Dan Crenshaw sure did justify those policies that led to that. And fuck Crenshaw, that warmongering piece of shit, he uses his handicap as a shield to spew his shit. I don't give a shit that he lost an eye. HE lost an eye defending America's bullshit interventionist policies. I have no remorse for him.
