If some psychopath like Eddie Gallagher slaughters innocent civilians against military policy, that's not on him. When military policy is slaughtering innocent civilians, as with drone strikes, that's 100% on him. You're right, the buck does stop with them. But unfortunately terrorists have families and children too, so unavoidable collateral casualties is an inevitability. While these children's deaths are terrible I can't help but wonder how many children are dead because of their father and men like him --- "People incapable of guilt usually do have a good time" -Detective Rust Cohle ...
