Met her in pharmacy school up in New England.

She was in the class ahead of me and she was just sort of an enigma. She was a quiet type, but she always had her one classmate friend (and roommate) with her and they both always dressed to the nines. A classy pair.

I took an interest in her from the jump but always felt that she was out of my league (not a bad guy myself as apparently other women were interested in me concurrently). I met my now wife finally at a potluck dinner organized by one of the student organizations (I joined the group solely to meet her). Her friends knew I liked her and my friends knew I liked her. Everybody made sure we met and so we did. Talked for like an hour outside on a cold November night.

Interesting thing though was that I learned we actually attended the same college in undergrad in Philly at the same time - indeed, we had the same degree program and lived literally across the street from each other. We were probably even classmates back then but neither of us could remember the other.
