I don't understand filthy rich people voting Republican either. Cutting their taxes isn't going to make them more money than a population with an assload more money to spend. It's like they don't understand the system that made them (or whichever relative they inherited from) wealthy in the first place.
The taxes aren't really the focus it's the rollbacks on regulations that let companies get to make the most money. People like to post feel-good stories about how awful it is that Trump only paid $750 in taxes and neglect mentioning his environmental protection regulation rollbacks are letting companies save billions of dollars by dumping toxic waste in rivers that feed drinking reservoirs.
