You either make it easier or harder for Poor people to put food on the table. And it seems Republican policies make it more difficult for poor people to put food on the table.

Republican politicians are bought out by lobbies to compromise on any morality their constituents expected. Most Republican voters are pretty low-information and prone to propaganda, so their arguments are bunk. You'll find conservatives on CE but you'll have to really look hard to find anyone who straight up defends Republicans without going "both sides"
