| Lightning Strikes 10/21/20 4:03:05 AM #50: | Theyre all great. Abby played all the big releases until like, this year, when none of them did aside from Ben (and I dont really blame them). I struggle to think of a major 2017-2019 release Abby didnt touch. If I remember correctly, Jeff didnt play say, DMC5, and Abby did. She played more games than the vast majority of the rest of them, the notion that she was somehow less into games felt icky to me. And while its not a competition, youre forgetting the actual best hire in the sites history, Austin. But every hire theyve made has been a good fit. Its a big of a shame Jason and Dan got split up though. Regarding Abby leaving without a job lined up, it seems clearly (because she said so) tied to the timing of the purchase. To speculate there may be a really good severance package for not coming on board, or a specific reason she didnt want to join Red Ventures.
