Ain't no justice if we allow prisoners to dictate the terms of it inside jail. This is how I see it. I realize people are in prison for a reason and it's easy to not give a shit, but whenever I hear about this sort of thing happening I see it the same as I see a mismanaged zoo letting animals fight and kill each other. Not only does this sort of thing not help with people's rehabilitation, but it is also costly. There's medical bills, and now there's gonna have to be an investigation, court fees, attorney fees, etc, costs that get passed onto the public in general. I don't see the value in knowing that somebody got the shit beat out of them. What sort of verifiable good does it do? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
