Not to mention all the horse breeders who will be put out of work." That is what the oil and coal industries sound like to me. . And it isn't even so direct as "Biden will order coal plants to close". It's more like "Biden will stop the process of throwing free money at Fossil Fuel investors in the form of subsidies". So it isn't even just "the government is going to invest more heavily in cleaner energy" and more "the government is threatening to stop giving us free money to exist". I do have a certain amount of empathy for anyone who's livelihood depends on a fossil fuel job, but at a certain point the writing is on the walls and you have to prepare yourself for the eventuality that your industry wont exist forever and that's how it should be. --- ...
