I'm obviously not okay with threatening specific people like that, and it should probably be tied to the policy rather than the candidate. However, it's unavoidable that the policies of different candidates could have significantly different effects on particular industries, and as an employee I would want to know more or less what those effects are and what my company would do as a result. Nah, you do that if the policies actually go into play and it's an imminent thing, or you say it "may" be a thing.
