Idk how they could mess up an ATB system they'd nailed well enough back in IV.turbo mode might actually be "too fast." I know that just sounds like I'm being difficult, but it's true. The main issue with IX's battle system is the long loading time at the beginning of fights, where the camera has to pan for like 5 seconds before you're able to enter a command. If there was a way to remove this and keep everything else the way it is, then that would be ideal, but turbo mode just speeds EVERYTHING up also vote stuffing is notorious on this board so beware! ffV is worth a playthrough but it's not better than VI. that being said, if you play it before VI you might like it more, who knows. --- while you slept, the world changed ...
