Everyone else will jump off and literally 3/4s of them will bump into each other and ragdoll. Jump and then dive towards one of the edges and you'll be fine and wind up ahead of most of the crowd. I went from finishing Fruit Chute like 50% of the time to the point that I can't remember the last time I failed it. You won't ragdoll if you don't bump into someone and dive.
