Making reasonable progress, though I'm not in any particular hurry. Mostly just trying to keep up with daily/weekly requirements for the battle pass while chipping away at all the other layers the game has.

In 7 days, the abyss is gonna reset, and I'll want to make it to at least 3-3 to get the xiangling. Dunno if she'll still be an option afterwards.

Got plenty of materials to farm for the handful of characters I want to focus on. I've been giving special attention to Noelle, and she's become quite the unkillable tank maid. Fischl for some support dps and Xiangling as a nice backup, although she might transition into a more active role once I beef her stats up some. Last slot is a bit of a wildcard, usually the main character. Such is the pain of being f2p without any 5* characters.

All that aside, I'm still just having loads of fun plopping into a random place and exploring for treasure/plants/rocks/statue collectable bits/ghost things/puzzles. Improving characters and advancing plot is all well and good, but there's a whole 2/7ths of a world to explore, and it's a pretty vast place that won't outstay its welcome anytime soon.
