Of course, the actual minimum wage 25 years ago was $4.25 (which rose to $4.75 in 1996). That's a 70%+ increase.70% increase from next to nothing is still next to nothing but either way the most preposterous thing is really the complete absence of any increase in the last decade when cost of living has skyrocketed in the past decade.
