Never played the first Spelunky, but I bought 2 about a week ago on PS4 and have been playing it on and off.

And I don't I can handle it anymore. I think the 1st zone is a decent challenge. It's every zone after that, especially the 3rd set ( water and pyramid levels) that make this game complete BS.

Those coffins that give you AI companions will ALWAYS manage to ruin your run by damaging you and screwing you over. These guys are only useful as a sacrifice. They are probably the most dangerous things in the game, by far.

All the difficulty is in some obscure hard to see trap that you accidently step in because you're not scanning your screen every 5 steps (hello bear traps). The jungle area in the 2nd set of levels? I think I've only once completed that route in all the runs I've done, and I've done a lot. This game just feels luck based sometimes.

But maybe I just need to git gud.
