From trumps perspective how could he condemn Them if he wants to win the election?

at play in this debate is the small number (estimates at 4-10% of voters who have not decided who to vote for and are toss ups.

By condemning them trump would effectively Be alienating the majority of his base (not just directly the white Supremaciats and the right wingers of his base who might not be officially a part of one of those groups but so support them and condone snd praise trump for doing so) AND its making him likely to lose more votes than are in play w these debates for any candidate to win.

granted any such right wing votes lost will not be gained by biden but they will likely abstain from voting if they feel biden is even somewhat more center left than left wing.

i still find the whole process wrigged against third party candidates who only get a seat at the debate table if a committee made up of democrats and republicans say they do.
