How many ounces of Ag is there in each coin? The quarters are 6.343 grams, or about 0.224 ounces, each. They're proof coins, so the blanks are polished and cleaned then double-struck with specially polished dies. This makes the design extremely sharp with a mirror-like background so they look really amazing.
