Russ Choma reported in Mother Jones last summer that Trumps debts were nearly $500 million and would come due in relatively short order, pressuring the presidents finances. But Trumps debts are even bigger than that, and hes worked hard to keep them hidden for decades. Dan Alexander, a senior editor at Forbes, has been covering Trumps business interests since 2016 and has a new book out about the presidents financial conflicts of interest, White House Inc. Alexander, in a helpful tally he shared Sunday evening, estimates Trumps total indebtedness to be about $1.1 billion. Now thats more like it.

Over a BILLION dollars in debt. No wonder he's sending me these batshit insane campaign letters literally every single day demanding I give him money. He has no money at all, his whole life is a sham.
