Yes- Single IDP position starters are pretty meaningless. I feel like last year I ended up with top 3 IDP production just but playing waivers each week because there were so many, so there was no reason for me to hold onto [the number 5 LB] through their bye week and drop a RB when I could just pick up [the number 13 LB] and not miss any production.
