It's less a feeling sad thing and more getting very emotionally overwhelmed easily. I don't cry much at films and TV but real life stuff I cry every day. Although I did bawl my eyes out watching Paddington 2 last year.

Just found myself getting close to crying talking about how my cat was being all adorable earlier and rolling on his back to lie in my arms. I stopped talking to make it stop but I'm pretty sure a lot of tears would have came out if I hadn't.

Cry sometimes over how loved I feel by my family. Cry if dinner doesn't taste as good as I intended.

I'm guessing this isn't healthy, but I otherwise feel happy and content

this sounds like a stealth symptom of depression.

you dont have to feel sad or have a reason to get depression
