Brah. How do you reach the conclusion that TC was saying he shouldn't have complied. Like the other poster said, it's an obvious (to me at least) call out to how people say cops won't bother you if you comply.
I reach that conclusion with the topic title "why don't they just comply" combined with a video of someone complying getting roughed up. Nobody died, which is a huge step up from all the non-compliant cases where someone got literally murdered. All of these cases are bad, but the only possible reason you would pair that title with that video is to emphasize that compliance doesn't help when it literally does.
I'd say it's to emphasize that compliance won't always keep you from violent interactions with police. The bar should be a bit higher than "compliance will keep you from fatal encounters with police"
Obviously I'm not saying this video is a direct representation of all encounters ---
