TopicWhen parking into a lot, do you back your car into a stall or drive straight in?

I was taught by my dad to always back into a spot for two reasons.

  1. It's much safer, when backing into a space. I know I'm not going to have to look out for incoming traffic or pedestrians. Same can't be said if you're trying to back out of a spot.
  2. If I ever needed to jump my car, it's much easier to jump a car that's backed into a space than the opposite.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was, and now what I'm with isn't it. And what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.
