| So_Hajile 08/27/20 7:45:58 PM #8: | There was a go on the city's local facebook page talking about how we shouldn't have closed down since we didn't do so for H1N1. If it ever got over the numbers of H1N1, then and only then, should we have ever shut down or even bother to worry about masks. He was hit with a number of replies showing him the U.S. deaths of an entire year were less than 20,000 while the deaths (at the time) for COVID-19 were 130,000. It was entertaining watching him flounder for a bit, but all he did was move the goalposts to where COVID-19 would need to kill 50 times more people for him to even think wearing a mask was worthwhile.
