You don't need a mask if you're outside unless you're in a crowd of people, which you should be avoiding regardless of whether or not you have a mask on. And that's what people are advocating here. If you're walking down the street and there are people walking by, you should be wearing a mask. If you're outside and on your own or with your family/friends only, no need to wear the mask. ...
