Every song feels like it could accompany a big-budget studio action movie, something deliberately retro from the 80s. It doesnt sound like the 80s, not quite it sounds like something intentionally imitating the 80s. Theres a difference. As with some prior soundtracks, I had a hard time distinguishing the songs from each other, which sort of makes the individual rankings fairly meaningless. But I generally liked them! Favorite song: Exclusive Coup. Like I said above, all the songs are very similar, so its tough for me to point out this one above the others. But it has traits I like in the other songs: those 80s synths, that guitar like something out of a retro production. Reminds me of Initial D, honestly. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
