They wanted specifically to know what legolas is seeing that they aren't. But more importantly, it's movie dialogue, and was probably important in the movies to make sure that the viewer knows that elves have better eyesight than man or dwarf. Exposition and such. Is this ever brought up in the movies otherwise? If they didn't specify elf eyes here then how would the viewer know that elves have better eyesight? --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
