If I have a free game that is well made and I am sinking a lot of time into, I am likely to spend money on it. For the reasons I mentioned earlier, the game is free. The company provides it for free, using ads or w/e as it's only guaranteed income, and I wish to support the company. I also listed that if a game is bad and seems money driven from the start, you have no requirement to pay or to play that game. It is all a choice, is the business practice a bit of a mess, yes. Does the business practice clearly work, yes. Are you at any point, forced to participate in the business practice, no. Now if it is marketed towards kids without that kind of rational thinking. It is hella shady. Am I defending big business, no. Am I saying if you want to pay for micro transactions go ahead and play how you want. Yes. Am I saying vlado is being a bit weird trying to high five anyone who has never used a micro transaction or other such thing.... also yes. --- I do what I want! You have problem !? ...
