I do feel like the Frank Zappa appreciation topic is different, because that's clearly for fans who enjoy his work. (And you provide informational links in the first post anyway! Anyone asking "who" after that is clearly a troll tbh) But a breaking news topic is for everyone, not just people who have heard about the guy before, and it's full of people asking questions about the situation (do we know what he did? has he made any statement yet? could it be related to the rumors that ____?) So coming into that topic to ask a more basic question ("who's that") doesn't seem out of line. --- another place and time, without a great divide, and we could be flying deadly high ...
