I think there are better ways of putting someone down then something that really doesn't put that person down and really is more a commentary on your own connection to subsection of internet or popular culture. It's entirely fine to be ignorant on a subject, but that ignorance isn't something to be proud of, in the way that Vlado is often quite proud of being unfamiliar with things or incapable of changing with the times (ie: anything after 1999).

Im not pro ignorance in general, but there are definitely subjects where its nothing to be ashamed of.
